Prejudice

Last year there were enough teachers teaching commerce and accountancy in Bajo HSS and even some are left without getting to teach their own elective. Even than a teacher was placed with an elective commerce and accountancy on the condition that he/she volunteered to teach mathematics. This year also a teacher is being placed in Bajo HSS irrespective of his/her elective with the condition that they volunteered to teach history while we have enough teachers teaching history. If it is the case, what is the use of upholding degree and where has the connotation of an elective subject gone? What is the implication and where is equity and justice. Are we justifying ourselves?

On the other hand, there is logic behind where individual has reasons with strong backbone; however, the compromise must not go beyond such conditions. As a professional, one should have the sense of professionalism while dealing professionally. We as a Bhutanese, we believe in everything which is like superstitious type. It’s like dogma type. You know what people says, if you request to the boss for help or placement, the boss will never listen to a person who show simplicity but if you have good relation with super boss i.e head of the boss and if request him/or her, then he/she will order the boss and you will get where ever you want to go. That’s what had been happened and happening. So here you see the professionalism and the integrity of a person by profession.
